Library Card Application

Get a virtual Library Card!

For your convenience, you can apply for your Library Card by just filling out the form below. If you are under the age of 18 you must come into the library with a parent or guardian to get a library card.

Your “Virtual Library Card” will then be texted to the cell phone number or sent to the email address that you have provided. Along with the conformation email or text you will be sent an image of your Library Card. This image can be saved on your phone and can be used at any of our branches instead of your hard copy card. You may pick up your hard copy card at the Rayville Branch or you can have it sent to the branch nearest to you.

You will need a PIN number along with your Library Card number to access some of our online services. The 4 digit PIN that you choose needs to be a number that you can remember. After we input the number into our system we no longer have access to it.

You will be able to check out ebooks through “Cloud Library,” and access other online resources that are available through our website. There are no overdue fines because ebooks are automatically returned electronically.

BE ADVISED, DO TO NEW STATE LAW, AS OF JANUARY FIRST 2024 YOU WILL NO LONGER BE ABLE TO APPLY FOR A LBRARY CARD FOR YOUR CHILD ONLNE. YOU WILL NEED TO COME TO THE LIBRARY WITH YOUR CHILD TO GET A CARD FOR THEM.

PLEASE ALLOW AT LEAST ONE BUSINESS DAY TO RECEIVE YOUR VIRTUAL LIBRARY CARD.
